During our May Collectively Speaking Conversation, we discussed the importance of creating community and why it’s so important to the success of your mentoring group. We also covered some helpful best practices. You can listen to the conversation here.
Creating authentic community isn’t easy initially, but the more we keep showing up, the easier it becomes. As you’ll hear in the podcast recommended below, investing in this type of community matters because it creates vulnerability and encourages us to open up and share with others. To support you as you lead in this effort, we created the conversation card below to help you build community among your mentees.
This month, on our Instagram, you will find Date Night and Girls Night Out activities to help you take some east first steps. The Girls Night Out is perfect for you to use with your mentoring group outside your monthly meetings. While the Date Night is an excellent way for you to encourage your mentees to spend time with their husbands. It’s can also be an excellent way for mentees to venture out on double dates together.
Each post includes everything you need for these experiences and a question to discuss along the way. And they’re perfect for any budget, allowing you to go as expensive as you want or as cheap as you want; it’s totally up to you!
